Well, I don't know why I came here tonight I got the feeling that something ain't right I'm so scared, I can't stop falling off my chair And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right Here I am, stuck in the middle with you Yes I'm, stuck in the middle with you Stuck in the middle with you Here I am, stuck in the middle with you (end on D, let ring)
Here's how to play the guitar chords used in this song. For the G and A, you can freely use a G7 or A7 throughout the song as well. I included these below.
e-|----2----3----0----0----0---- ----1-----0---- B-|----3----0----2----1----1---- ----0-----2---- G-|----2----0----2----0----2---- ----0-----0---- D-|----0----0----2----2----2---- ----0-----2---- A-|---------2----0----3----0---- ----2-----0---- E-|---------3------------------- ----3---------- D G A C Am G7 A7
Given the relatively simple chord progression used in this song, it is the strumming pattern you use that will let you add a lot of character -- especially given any attempt to capture the zest of the album version. Instead of trying to explain it here, I'll point you to Justin Sandercoe's excellent strumming tutorial for this song on Youtube -- check it out here.

Here's a list of the 173 songs I've added to the site since December 2012. Each song was added by me personally.
Songs are grouped by the year they were released.
My name is David Potsiadlo, and I created Songnotes to share my collection of guitar tabs, chords, and lyrics for my favorite songs.
Since I started playing guitar over 10 years ago, I've often been frustrated by the preponderance of mediocre and incomplete song tabs littered across the internet. To combat this, I started keeping my own collection of notes for each song I learn -- always taking the extra time to make sure accuracy and completeness are never compromised. Years later, my collection grew to the point where I knew I had to share it online with fellow aspiring musicians.
In December 2012, I began designing & developing a website that became Songnotes. Here, I share my personal collection of hand-crafted music notation with all those online. I hope you enjoy.
